  從我們獵頭公司的角度看這篇英文簡歷,感覺還是不錯的。可以用這樣幾個字來概括:條理比較清晰,結構比較完 整,用詞也比較規範。如果說還有哪些地方需要提高的話,可能在“賣點”上需要花一點功夫。從比較專業的眼光去品判一篇英文簡歷,我想簡單概括以下幾點,也 可為想寫好英文簡歷的經理人作參考:

  1英文簡歷的格式其實很簡單,可以根據自己的經驗和專業能力搞得新穎一點。但基本上不外乎以下幾個要素,如:

  Name:

  Address:

  Tel:

  E-mail:

  Objective:

  Summary:

  Professional Experience:

  Education:

  Qualifications &Professional Designations:

  Hobbies(If need):

  在Professional Experience之前的要素,描述不用太長篇,高度概括即可。面試人,特別是老外,可從中看出你的英文概括能力(長句的使用)。

  2、英文簡歷中,專業經驗、經歷(Professional Experience)部分是重頭戲。因為這個部分是面試人最感興趣和關心的,以後即使在面試時,也差不多圍繞這個在說話。寫簡歷的人需要花大“手筆”去 描述這個部分。怎樣才能描述好,要抓住以下幾個關鍵:

  工作職責Responsibility.

  工作業績Achievement:如完成了多少指標,如何完成的?管理多少人,利潤提高了多少?等等。

  在A,B中,要不厭其煩地用比較數字說明問題,因為獵頭或面試人可能對你的專業不很了解,但每一個人都對跳躍 的數字感興趣,並且記得住,如:團隊由最初的3人發展到現在的15人,經銷商由99年的3家擴展到2001年的23家等等。

  不要光寫成功經驗,也要提及曾經走過的彎路和失敗。最好是寫一個例子,說明原先某個事件看上去已經失敗,但通 過你的努力,提高很快,很顯著,你也從中學到很多。告訴面試人或寫在簡歷上你是通過哪些辦法去改變的。老外往往對這一些很感興趣,因為走過彎路再成功的人 更吸引人,也對他的公司更具有實際操作意義。

  這個部分用詞也有講究,能令人興奮和印象深刻的詞很多,如:rebuild up, developed, exceed, participated, enhanced, coordinated, conducted, assisted processed, implemented, management,prepared, consolidated, contributed more than % for, over, revenue, growth, excellent performance,top,strategy, awarded, significant increase, milestones, etc.

  Qualification & Professional designation這兩部分,可按照標準的一些格式如實附上,如:

  4最後一個部分可以簡單寫一些你的個人愛好(Hobbies)和個人情況(Personal Information).面試時,面試人(包括很多老外),通過對你這部分看似平常的,非工作性的情況的了解,(特別是請高級管理層),更能評估你這個 人目前的狀態和你對社會、家庭的一些看法,以及看出你解決一些實際問題的思路和能力。

  總體來講,寫英文簡歷並不難,難的是要贏得面試。我們經常在上面的討論中談到面試人和我們獵頭對這份簡歷的看 法。任何一篇文章,不在長短,也不在形式花俏,而在於它的特點和賣點。而且特點和賣點在一開始的時候就應該顯現出來。就像1999年風險投資盛行時,你如 果想吸引風險投資家的目光,你必需在開場白的5分鐘內讓人對你的項目感興趣,在45秒內讓人明白你要做什麼,簡歷只是把這種表白書面化了。任何一個看你簡 歷的獵頭和面試人都希望在最短的時間內知道你的特點和賣點,都喜歡一個能給他們帶來與眾不同的人,能給他們帶來別人所沒有的東西。如果你的簡歷在這點上作 了文章,可能幸運之星已經在向你招手了,也已經有人對你動心了。
